TayoPay works by allowing you to transfer money electronically to another person or business. You can do this through our website or mobile app, and the recipient can receive the funds directly into their bank account or through a cash pickup location.
First, download the TayoPay App on your phone.
Then follow the easy steps to register, upload a copy of your ID and a photo of yourself, and you can start remitting funds. Easy as that.

Yes, it is. Your documentation and identity will be protected by law according to the POPIA act. All documentation will be stored on a secure server, and your information will not be shared with any external parties.
You can send every day as long as you don’t send more than R5000.00 daily. Once you have reached the R25 000.00 monthly limit, you won’t be able to send any more funds until the following month.

Your money is safe with us. We are an authorised dealer with the South African Reserve Bank with a Category 3 Licence that enables us to facilitate remittance from South Africa. We use authorised banking institutions to remit your money to your loved ones with ease and without any risk or issues.
This is a unique number that will be issued automatically for every new transaction. This number will enable us to track your money and ensure that it reaches its destination. You will have to send that number to your recipient for them to be able to withdraw their money.
International FOREX rates fluctuate on an hourly basis, this is why we will first give you a quote so that you to approve or decline based on the current rates.

You have up to 24 hours to pay for a transaction. Thereafter, the transaction will expire and you have to start the process over.
The recipient needs to have the unique transaction number as well as produce their valid ID document that shows a picture of themselves to be able to collect the money sent.
You will receive a confirmation SMS once the transaction has been processed.
Transfers to mobile wallets and cash collection are sent instantly.
Transfers to bank accounts can take up to 48 hours to reflect depending on which pay-out partner the recipient has to collect the money from.
There are many reasons why the payment is not going through. Please check the following details before contacting customer support.
Check that you have entered the correct card details. Make sure that the expiry date and CVV numbers are correct.
You could’ve reached your daily or monthly limit.
Check that the beneficiary details are correct.
If all the details are correct, please check with you banking institution as to why they declined the payment. In some cases, you might need to approve or enable payments through your service provider.
When you open the App, and it asks you for your login details, click on ‘Forgot Password’. We will then email or SMS you a password reset link where you can create new login details for yourself.
This link will expire, so please make sure that you respond within the allotted time.
